At RP3, we had what we called a "Karma Day" - in short, a day you're supposed to take off to volunteer somewhere. In 2014, Julie Smith and I took our Karma Days to help the Washington Area Women's Foundation review web vendors.

The problem was, we didn't like anyone who presented. So we decided that we'd go back and pitch our team.

We won of course.

Our design simplified the site content into clear actions that people learning about the organization could take.

We implemented the site, including some cool, backbone.js powered lazy loading and filtering, using WordPress.
